Long Trips
For volleyball, the places we go, don’t always seem super far, but I guess the fact that 12 of us are scrunched in a 15-passenger van, makes it seem like it’s going to take forever. People tend to get really obnoxious at times, so that makes it so much worse. It’s like I’m trapped and there is no way to get out or away or to even block it from my mind. As a general rule, these trips are good for bonding and I think that is really important, especially with a team like mine..
To win as a team, and to lose as a team, those on the team need to realize the one-ness of the word “team” itself.
